My dad was talking about the Sixth Pay Commission and was excited about the hike and the arrears he would get since its passed now.
The govt has finally realized and brought the govt scales somewhat on par with the private scales.(Imagine a basic pay of 75000 for a govt employee!!!).
Now with the pay problem solved,the only thing remaining is the fact that there need to be more accountability and less of red tapism to make the govt jobs more attractive to the younger crowd.
