Commuting Woes

After reading this site dedicated to “why people are leaving bangalore”,the majority of reasons seem to be because of traffic and infrastructure problems. Now no city focussing on trade and commerce has escaped this phase.

How to overcome it?

I believe in cutting off things at the source,if they become the “source” of troubles. So the plan seems to be NOT having specific commercial areas/IT Zones in cities and instead have a developed residential and commercial parks together within walkable distance.
More than cutting traffic problems, the fact that I would be spending 2 hours or more at home with family or doing my stuff instead of driving bumper to bumper appeals to me.
If I only there were enough residential flats at Hinjewadi,Pune…..I would have been a Guitar virtuoso by now….
